During 2021, European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) will host a series of workshops looking at different aspects of diversity and inclusiveness in citizen science. This series is being co-organised by four partners: ECSA, the ECSA & Living Knowledge Network working group on empowerment, inclusiveness and equity, D-NOSES and Cos4Cloud, the European Horizon 2020 of which CREAF is partner. This first workshop will be led by the Natural History Museum in London and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and will take place on 27 January (16:00-18:00 CET). It aims to support citizen science practitioners to review their projects and programmes to see where they are perpetuating ‘white supremacy culture’, name instances of oppression, and work towards antidotes.
