Miércoles, Septiembre 7, 201614:30 - 18:00

The ECSA Policy Working Group is organizing a briefing for the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) ´Citizen Science is not an idea – it´s the future´.

This will be a great opportunity to inform MEPs on the global development of Citizen Science. Particularly, the aim is to raise awareness on the value of Citizen Science in regards to decision-making and to explore how this approach can be incorporated in European and national level policies.

In addition, we will take the opportunity to present the recently awarded EU Horizon 2020 project ´DITOs – Do It Together Science`, as it represents a great tool for linking Citizen Science and DIY European community to policy-makers.
